This past month we have just been going and going and going. We had Thanksgiving in RL, back to RL on Dec 13th for Tiffany's wedding, back to RL for Christmas with mom and dad and then this past Wednesday through Sunday we were in Brownfield staying with Ryan's parents for Christmas. Needless to say, we are tired. We had a wonderful time in Brownfield. Brad, Kelli and Gavin came down. Sorry Hannah couldnt come down. She was in Colorado with her mother. We went over and spent Christmas Eve at Mamma and Pappa's with Jan, Angela and Danny, and Matt. Then Christmas morning was at Delane and Greg's house. Cash did so well the whole time we were there except the Saturday night. A cold front had blown in and that night he didnt sleep at all! He couldnt breathe through his nose and was congested. So since he didnt sleep, I didnt sleep. Today he actually slept until 9:45am (which he usually gets up around 8am) drank a bottle, down and asleep at 10am until 11am, then back down at 1pm and I had to wake him up finally at 4pm! He is exhausted and still not feeling very well. Needless to say, I am ready to just lay low for a little bit, get my house back in order and get back to normal schedule. :]

Early Christmas at The Crutchers

Trying to take it all in. (the contents of his stocking) :]

Mesmerized

Open it, open it!

Here momma, I will help!

Im a sucker. I couldnt wait! My justification was that Cash wouldnt know the difference anyway, so why wait? :] I had ordered some things from Leapfrog and it all came in a big box. When i brought it out, Cash's eyes lit up and he crawled as fast as he could to get to the box. Wow, and it was ONLY the box and he was SO EXCITED! It was so funny. His favorite toy was the Leapfrog table that SANTA got him. It even talks in Spanish! hehe He loves that thing!

Early Christmas Present

Is this not the cutest thing you have ever seen?!!!!! Chance Potter (Ryan's boss) and his wife Haylee gave Cash this Rockin Riding Bull for Christmas!!! He loves for us to put him on it and push him around the house. He has the biggest smile on his face! As soon as you stop pushing him he gets off of it though. He loves to go over to the bull and press on its ears because it plays songs. Every time he hears music, he stops what he is doing and holds out his arm and bounces it. He looks like a little music director. Cracks me up!!!
Thanks Chance and Haylee!!!!!!

Jesus is the Reason for the Season

REMEMBER: Santa lives at the North Pole. JESUS is everywhere.

Santa rides in a sleigh JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.

Santa comes but once a year JESUS is an ever present help.

Santa fills your stockings with goodies JESUS supplies all your needs.

Santa comes down your chimney uninvited JESUS stands at your door and knocks, and then enters your heart.

You have to stand in line to see Santa JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.

Santa lets you sit on his lap JESUS lets you rest in His arms.

Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi little boy or girl, What's your name?" JESUS knew our name before we did. Not only does He know our name He knows our address too He knows our history and future He even knows how many hairs are on our heads.

Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly JESUS has a heart full of love.

All Santa can offer is HO HO HO JESUS offers health, help and hope. Santa says "You better not cry" JESUS says "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you.

Santa's little helpers make toys JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds mansions.

Santa may make you chuckle but JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.

While Santa puts gifts under your tree JESUS became our gift and died on the tree.

It's obvious there is really no comparison. We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about. We need to put Christ back in Christmas.

Jesus is still the Reason for the Season.

May the Lord Bless and Watch over you and your loved ones this Christmas 2008 And may He prosper and bless the work of your hands in the New Year.2009

9 Month Check Up

Cash had his 9 month check up last week. He is actually 10 months, but because of having to reschedule a couple of times that is just how it turned out. Thank goodness there were NO SHOTS this visit! I always dread taking him when he has to get shots. Its the saddest thing! He did have to have some blood drawn. Actually they just pricked his finger. He didn't like that and he really didn't like the band aide they put on his finger. That was pretty funny watching him trying to get it off.
So at 10 months Cash is 13.8 lbs and 25 inches long which puts him in the 5th percentile on the growth chart. Hey, its a bump up from the 3rd percentile. :]

Cash was very curious. Everytime someone passed through the isle, he wanted to know where they were going and what they were doing.

I love this picture. He is on the train looking out the window

Ryan wasnt able to join us so Granna came! Yea!!! I think she really enjoyed herself. I was so glad she came with me.

Cash and Me and The Conductor in front of the train

Waiting in the tent before the train ride.

I guess it would probably be best if you looked at the pictures from the bottom up. I put them in in the wrong order. December 5 2008 we went to North Pole and saw Santa Claus and his elves via the Polar Express!!!! Ever seen the movie? If not, it is really cute. Once on the train, they tell the story of the Polar Express. While we listened to the story they served hot cholcolate and cookies. All the kids on the train wore their pj's. Once we got to the North Pole and picked up Santa and his elves Santa went by to each kid and gave them a tiny bell and asked what they wanted for Christmas. We all sang christmas songs like, Frosty the Snow Man, Jingle Bells, The 12 Days of Christmas and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Lots of kids got up and danced. It was so cute!!!!
