First Laugh!!

Today when I was over at my friend Dawn's house I started tickling Cash's tummy and he let out the cutest little laugh. Short but sweet. :] Just thought i would share that little piece of info. Tomorrow he will be 12 weeks old!!!!!!!

WISDOM PRINCIPLES

I get to do a lot of reading when i come down to see mom and dad. Dad let me borrow a book called One-Minute Bussinessman's Devotional by Mike Murdock. I havent started it yet but i have just been skimming through. Read these WISDOM PRINCIPLES.... (these arent all of them, just the one's that spoke to me the most)

Everything God created is a solution to a problem.

Whatever you have been given is what someone needs.

You will never possess what you are unwilling to pursue.

The secret of your future is hidden in your daily routine.

Sometimes you have to do what you hate to create something you Love.

You must be willing to go where you have never been to create something you have never had.

God never consults your past to determine your future.

Stop looking at where you have been and start looking at where you are going.

Injustice is only as powerful as your memory of it.

What you hear repeatedly, you will eventually believe.

Those you created yesterday's pain do not control tomorrow's potential.

Prosperity is having enough of God's provision to complete His purpose for your life.

When you want something you have never had, you have to do something you have never done.

Self Control

Well I am down in Robert Lee with Cash for the weekend while Ryan and some of his buddies went down to Lake Brownwood for a guys weekend. They rode their bikes (yes, Ryan has a bike now. will post pics later) down there and took a friends boat. Sounds like fun, huh?! :] Well, mom had a Joyce Meyer program recorded that i watched with her. Wow, she is good. She talked about self control. So this is what i learned.....

You CAN develop self control and patience. God has put that seed in us, we just have to work it. The only way you are going to develop self control is when God wants you to do something and you feel like doing something else and you say, "I got to do what is right if its the last thing i ever do."

Its so simple that we miss it because it IS just that simple.

You would be surprised how much you can control yourself if you just realize EVERY action has a consequence.

Do you want to get out of debt? Stop spending your money on things you dont need and put that money toward your current debt
Do you want to lose weight? Start taking better care of yourself, start eating the right foods, and start exercising
Do you want to have better relationships? Start treating others the way you want to be treated
Do you want to have a clean house? Clean it

We are always trying to look for the easy way out, but God did not lead the Israelites the easy way. The bible says that there was a shorter way from Egypt to The Promise Land but He took them the longer, harder way because they needed to learn.

We have opposition in our lives so we can develop self control.

Stop being jealous of what other people have. We need to trade in that wishbone for a backbone. We need to realize if God can do it for them, then He can do it for us!

If you say you are not a disciplined person, that is the first problem you have right there. What you just said about yourself. What you say about yourself, your future, about your abilities is more important than you can possibly imagine, because YOU WILL NEVER GO BEYOND WHAT YOU BELIEVE ABOUT YOURSELF. (Wow, those are some powerful words)
If you believe you cant resist something you WONT be able to resist it!!!

Say 25 times a day- I am a dispiclined person, I am obedient to God, I can control myself. I dont care how hard it is or how much i dont want to do it. I believe God is telling me to do something so I am going to do it.

If you hate to exercise but know you need to (we all do) tell yourself all day long for as long as it takes.... I love to exercise, I love to exercise, I love to exercise. Before too long you will have a craving for it. You will want to exercise.

God has given us s spirit of love and power. A sound mind is a spirit of discipline and self control.

My favorite quote of hers is, "If the devil isnt bothering you, ask yourself if you are bothering the devil."

Just a little tid bit

I had my doctor's appointment the other day and the diabetes is gone!!!!! Yea me! Everything was back to normal. Well almost. My thryoid is a litte enlarged. He said that sometimes pregnancy can cause it so he wants to check back in August to see if it has improved. Also my good cholestrol is a little low and my bad cholestrol is a little high. Thanks Mom!!! So if that doesnt improve by August he will have to put me on medication. Oh and he said that i need to lose 15lbs. I just laughed at him and said i would try. :] I really do want to lose some more weight but only for myself, not for him. :]

First Shots!!!!!

Today was Cash's 2 month check up. He had to get 4 shots!!!! Poor thing didnt know what was coming. He got 2 in each leg. Needless to say he was not a happy camper. It wasnt as bad as I thought it was going to be. He cried for a little bit but by the time we got home he had crashed out. He is such a little trooper. I didnt cry, like I thought i would, but I did tear up a little bit. He weighed 8 lbs 12 oz and was 21.4 inches long. Both of those are in the 3rd percentile for his age. :] What do you expect!? We are just little people! :] He will be 11 weeks tomorrow. I cant believe how time has flown by so quickly! Before ya know it he will be off to college!!

Kelli, Ryan's sister, found out yesterday that she is having a little boy. She is due sometime in August. I am so excited for her!!! Cash is going to have a little buddy!! :]

Update

Aunt Tiffany said that i needed to update my blog so that is what i am doing. Tiffany came over today and played with Cash while i took a much needed trip to Walmart alone. That was nice. Cash sure loves his Aunt Tiffany.

Precious One

These pics were taken while he was in his swing looking up at the moving leaves and animals. He acted like it was the first time he had seen them and he just thought they were the coolest thing ever. He smiled and cooed and kicked his legs. It was too cute!!

He is now on some acid reflux medicine and since he has been taking that he is a totally different baby! No more crying fits at night!!!!!! What a blessing that is in itself!

8 Weeks

Well my little man is now 8 weeks old! Can you believe it! He is sleeping in his room at night (finally) and i get to sleep in my bed again!!!! The doctor has put him on some medicine for acid reflux and since that time he is a totally different baby! He is smiling everyday and it just melts my heart!
