7 weeks

What an experience! No one ever told me how hard it would be to get a handprint in plaster and to get a footprint on paper!!! It was so funny. His hand print look like a coon scratch, as uncle Jerrod described it.




When Cash is fussy and momma is at her wits end, Papa saves the day! Dad and Cash are like two peas in a pod. Its really cute!



Chad Helwig and his wife, Heather, were in Robert Lee this past weekend so we thought we would go over and meet their little one, Caleb Walker. He is about 3 weeks older than Cash.

7 1/2 weeks. Where did the time go?



On my way home from Robert Lee i stopped in Brownfield to see some of Ryan's family that was in town. They hadnt met Cash yet. The above picture is Ryan's cousin Amy and her little "big" boy is Brennan. He is almost 4 months old. He is huge!!!! :]

Today Cash smiled (not a gassy smile) for the first time!!!! The pictures dont do it justice. My camera couldnt take the picture fast enough to get the full effect but they turned out pretty good i think. I was soooo excited!!! He is just so darn cute!

Good Night

Well yesterday i turned the big 27. Yea me! :] Miss Dawn kept Cash for a couple of hours so me and Ryan could go out to eat and have some time for ourselves. Thanks Dawn! We ended up ordering in and just watching tv, because well we are tired. It was nice though. Cash man slept from the time i brought him home at around 9:30pm until 3am!!! Go Cash! This morning i felt oddly energized after the 6:30am feeding so i started working on his scrapbook. Im so proud of it. ITs about 8:15am now and i think i might take a little nap since Cash is sleeping.

Yesterday i had my 6 week check up and everything is great. I had them weigh Cash and he is now 7lbs 12 1/2 oz. He doesnt go back to his doctor until April 23 or 24th so we will see how much my little man has grown by then!!

So we went and spent today in Brownfield. We really had a good time. Good to see people we hadnt seen in a while. Almost made it through the whole church service but little man got hungry. :] He was a big hit. I knew he would be. :] Me and daddy, after lunch, got some much needed rest while grandparents and greatgrandparents took care of Cash. I didnt hear anyone complain.

I go to the doctor tomorrow for my 6 weeks check up. I will see if they will weigh Cash for me since his next appointment isnt until the end of April. Everyone asks me how much he weighs now but we havent been to the doctor since his 2 week check up so...... I will let everyone know.

Well last night i would say was one of our longest since Cash came home. He has gas really bad and momma hadnt had a nap all day since we went to Lubbock so lets just say it wasnt a good night. We called the doc and she called in some medicine for him so we will see how that goes.

Im excited to go to Brownfield for Easter this sunday. Will be glad to show him off at church and for the family to get to see him again. Im sure we will get some cute pictures. And i have the cutest little outfit for him to wear! :]

6 weeks

What?

I thought I would start this blog so people can keep up with how Cash is doing as well as me and Ryan. So I hope yall like it!

Cash is 6 weeks today. Wow! Time just flew by! Everyone said it would, but seriously! He really is the most precious thing in the world and I dont think I am being biased because everyone says so! :] Little man started off wearing preemie clothes and he is just now starting to move on up to the newborn clothing. :] He slept a full 8 hours last night!! Lets see if he can do that again! Great night for momma. He was probably just really exhausted from the 2 1/2 hour fit that he threw before that. (he is really really gassy!!) Everyone asks me how motherhood is. My answer.... Exhausting but wonderful. I wouldnt trade it for anything! I am so blessed to be able to stay at home with Cash.

Ok so the pics arent where I would like them to be but i will figure that out later!
