Homemade

Homemade Baby Wipes--- I love them!

Take 1 roll Bounty Paper Towels Select-A-Size (white) and cut in half with big knife.

In Rubbermaid container (12 cups or more) pour in the following:

2 cups water
2 tablespoons baby wash
2 tablespoons baby oil

Dip paper towels (cut side up) into mixture quickly and remove.

Turn over and place paper towels (with cut side down) back in container.

Wait about 15 minutes and pull out wet cardboard center

Enjoy your baby wipes!!!

I also made some homemade laundry detergent. I have used it on Cash's clothes and it worked fine. The real test will be Ryan's work clothes. Will let you know how that turns out. Here is the recipe.

2 gallons Water (hot)
1 bar Soap (grated)- I used a Zote bar (in the detergent sections-its only 98 cents!)
2 cups Baking soda

Melt grated soap in a saucepan with enough hot water to cover. Cook on medium-low heat, stirring frequently until soap is melted.

In a large pail, pour 2 gallons hot water. Add melted soap, stir well.

Then add the baking soda, stir well again.

Use 1/2 cup per full load, 1 cup per very soiled load.

Side Note: For the bar soaps required in the recipes, you could try Fels-Naptha, Ivory soap, Sunlight bar soap, Kirk’s Hardwater Castile, and Zote. Don’t use heavily perfumed soaps.
